Grab Bars and Handrail SPECIAL OFFER through June 30, 2025
From time to time, we all need something to hang onto. If having additional grab bars and/or handrails where you live would make your life easier and safer, St. Anthony Park Area Seniors (SAPAS) is pleased to offer the services of our independent contractor handyman, Kevin Kansy. In addition to installation, Kevin will acquire the necessary materials for your job.
Through a grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, SAPAS is able to offer half-price installations for seniors between 30% and 80% of Ramsey County’s median income, and installations at no charge for those below 30% of the Ramsey County median income to those who live in our service area of St. Anthony Park, Lauderdale and Falcon Heights west of Cleveland Avenue.

SAPAS independent contractor handyman will perform minor handyman services such as light switches, leaky faucets, fixing toilets, grab bars, handrails, screens, window locks, door knobs, window glass replacement, shower rods, closet doors and bars, window blind installation, holes in the wall, re-caulk tubs etc. to keep you safe in your own home.
- Convenient appointments for you
- If requested, contractor will make the trip to the store to purchase supplies as needed.
- Hourly charge with a one-hour minimum, additional time billed by partial hours.
- Handy Services visits are usually for a few hours or less.
- Handy Services visits are available to seniors who are 60 years or older and live in the St. Anthony Park Area Seniors service area.
