Yale University's free course The Science of Well-Being
In this course you will engage in a series of challenges designed to increase your own happiness and build more productive habits. As preparation for these tasks, Professor Laurie Santos reveals misconceptions about happiness, annoying features of the mind that lead us to think the way we do, and the research that can help us change. You will ultimately be prepared to successfully incorporate a specific wellness activity into your life.

Exercise Classes

We will host our second Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance class through Zoom, starting on Monday, January 4 from 10-11 am!  The class is currently full.  Please call the SAPAS office at 651-642-9052 to be put on a waiting list or on a list of people interested in future classes.

We will host our next Chair Yoga class, starting on Friday, January 8 from 11 am-noon!   Please call the SAPAS office at 651-642-9052 to find out if there are spots available or to be put on a list of people interested in future classes.

 

Due to the pandemic ALL SAPAS EXERCISE AND CHAIR YOGA CLASSES AT LAUDERDALE CITY HALL, CENTENNIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH AND THE ST. ANTHONY PARK LIBRARY HAVE BEEN CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Poetry Classes

In February and March of 2021 we are hosting a second session of the "Inspired by Poetry" course, hosted by Dave Healy.  The class meets on Thursday afternoons from 2:30 -3:30 pm.  The class is currently full.  Call the St. Anthony Park Area Seniors office if you would like to be on a list to be called if there is another session in the future.
